Orleans Parish – The Louisiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the New Orleans Police Department for 64-year-old Joseph Sampson. He was discovered missing on October 22, 2025, from his home on Forum Drive in New Orleans at approximately 10:00 a.m. The Louisiana State Police received the request to issue the alert at about 5:30 p.m. this evening.
 
Sampson is a black male with brown eyes and a bald head. He is 6’0” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. Sampson may be suffering from a medical condition that could impair his judgment.

Sampson was last seen wearing a T-shirt and blue sweatpants. He is believed to be traveling on foot in an unknown direction.
 
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the New Orleans Police Department at (504) 881-0704 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the New Orleans Police Department.
