Tallulah - On Saturday, September 21, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Louisiana State Police/CID/Detectives-Monroe Field Office (LSP MFO) were requested by the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office (MPSO) to investigate a homicide that occurred inside the city limits of Tallulah. The preliminary investigation revealed that a shooting occurred in the 1400 block of Florida Street, which resulted in the death of 20-year-old Clayton Crye Jr. of Tallulah. LSP MFO will serve as the lead investigating agency, with MPSO assisting. The investigation remains active and ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
