Baton Rouge – Overnight, the Louisiana State Police-Special Victims Unit (LSP-SVU), working in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Gonzales Police Department, arrested four individuals on charges related to trafficking of children for sexual purposes.
LSP-SVU works to rescue and seek justice for victims of child exploitation and human trafficking. We partner with local, state, and federal agencies and focus on public education. Assistance from the public is crucial in identifying suspects accused of these crimes and is urged to report any suspicious or criminal activity. The Louisiana State Police online reporting system is available to the public through an anonymous reporting form that is submitted to the appropriate investigators. To report anonymously, visit: http://la-safe.org/ and click on the “Suspicious Activity” link. Contact Information: | |||
