Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP A- NEWS RELEASE No Headlight, Dark Road Contribute to Driver’s Death On Friday, June 27, 2008 at 11:32 PM, Louisiana State Police – Troop A began investigating a one-vehicle fatality. The fatality occurred on LA Hwy 449 north of LA Hwy 63 in Livingston Parish. A Honda CRF 450R motorcycle traveled south on LA Hwy 449 and exited the roadway to the right. After leaving the roadway, the Honda struck a ditch, ejected the driver and hit a culvert. The driver, Herman R. Sevario, Jr. (Male/Age 24) of Walker, LA, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Livingston Parish Coroner’s Office. Mr. Sevario drove an off-road motorcycle, without lights, on a dark road. The driver did not use a helmet, and the use of alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in this crash.
