TROOP E NEWS RELEASE July 19, 2022 Unrestrained Dodson Woman Killed in Winn Parish Crash Winn Parish – On July 19, 2022, at approximately 1:50 p.m., Louisiana State Police Troop E responded to a single-vehicle fatal crash on Louisiana Highway 505 south of Louisiana Highway 126. This crash claimed the life of 32-year-old Bronwyn D. Chandler and her unborn child. The initial investigation revealed a 2006 Toyota Camry, driven by Chandler, was traveling north on Louisiana Highway 505. For reasons still under investigation, Chandler’s vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. Chandler sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. She and her unborn child were later pronounced dead. A toxicology sample was obtained and submitted for analysis. In 2022, Troop E has investigated 21 fatal crashes, resulting in 22 deaths.
