| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE State Police, Troop A – News Release For Immediate Release Inattentive Driver Crosses Median, Four Transported March 22, 2008 At 2:56 PM, on Saturday, March 22, 2008, Louisiana State Police – Troop A responded to a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The crash occurred on Interstate 10 (I-10), east of LA Hwy 42 in Ascension Parish. A Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was westbound on I-10 and crossed the median. The Chevrolet S-10 entered the left lane of I-10 eastbound and crashed head-on into a Kawasaki motorcycle. After the collision, the Chevrolet S-10 continued across the right lane of I-10 eastbound, through a ditch and struck a tree. The driver of both vehicles and two passengers in the Chevrolet S-10 sustained moderate to serious injuries. All of the drivers and passengers were transported to area hospitals by Acadian Ambulance.
