| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE State Police, Troop A – News Release For Immediate Release New York Native Charged with Intent to Distribute February 29, 2008 At 5:59 AM, on Friday, February 29, 2008, Louisiana State Police, Troop A Criminal Patrol Units conducted a traffic stop that resulted in an arrest and drug seizure. The traffic stop took place eastbound on Interstate 12 near Holden, LA in Livingston Parish. The trooper initiated the traffic stop after observing a 2008 Dodge Avenger following another vehicle too closely. After speaking to the driver, Jesus R. Abinader (W/M/Age 26) of New York, the trooper became wary of the his story. Mr. Abinader gave the trooper consent to search the vehicle and 17 bundles (approximately 100 pounds) of marijuana were located in the trunk. Mr. Abinader was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail for Following Too Close and Possession with Intent to Distribute (Marijuana). For more information contact: S/T Johnnie L.
