| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE State Police, Troop A – News Release For Immediate Release Motorcycle Leaves Roadway, Driver Ejected March 2, 2008 At 3:20 PM, on Sunday, March 02, 2008, Louisiana State Police, Troop A was notified of a fatal motorcycle crash. The crash occurred on LA Hwy 22 east of LA Hwy 16 in Livingston Parish. A 2006 Harley Davidson traveled westbound on LA Hwy 22 near Koto Road and exited the roadway to the left. The Harley Davidson entered the ditch and the driver was ejected and thrown nearly 30 feet. The driver of the Harley Davidson sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Livingston Parish Coroner’s Office. The motorcyclist wore a helmet and alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in this crash. The name of the deceased will be released once troopers have notified the next of kin.
