| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE Colonel Michael D. Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP L NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release November 4th, 2010 Slidell Resident identified as Sex Offender Fugitive Louisiana State Police Region I Detectives have arrested David D. Dull, (W/M age 54) of Slidell, LA, after he failed to register as a sex offender as required by law. The investigation began when State Police Detectives received information that Dull was a convicted sex offender from Tillamook County, Oregon. Under provisions of his conviction on May 15, 1989, Dull was required to complete sex offender registry information and maintain a lifetime registry. Dull failed to do so and fled the state. Records showed that Dull moved around the country and ultimately settled in Slidell, LA in 2008. Dull never registered in Louisiana as a sex offender as required by law. On Thursday, November 2, 2010, LSP Detectives, along with the U.S. Marshals Service and St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, attempted to locate Dull at his place of employment in Slidell. Through investigative measures, it was determined that Dull was currently working in Basile, LA, where he was located and arrested without incident. Dull was booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail as a fugitive and will be extradited to St. Tammany Parish by LSP Detectives at a later date. Contact Information:
