Joint Investigation Leads to Cyberstalking Arrest

Tickfaw – State Troopers working in the Bureau of Investigations, Hammond Field Office and St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrested a Tickfaw man today after executing a search warrant on his home in Tickfaw. Detectives from the two agencies worked together on an investigation stemming from a May 3, 2010 complaint from a female who alleged that her driver’s license photo had been super-imposed onto a nude female’s photograph and placed on an adult website. During the course of this investigation, another female came forth with information that her driver’s license photo had also been superimposed onto a nude female’s photograph and placed onto an adult website. After a thorough investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for the home of Osa Bezue (B/M, age 40) of Tickfaw. A search of Bezue’s computer yielded images of both females. The images were determined to be State of Louisiana driver’s license photographs. Bezue had worked with both victims during his employment with the Southeastern Louisiana University Police Department.

Troopers and Deputies arrested Bezue on charges of Cyberstalking and Malfeasance in Office and booked him into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail. Upon his release from the Tangipahoa Parish Jail, he will be booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail on similar charges.
