Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP L NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release October 18th, 2010 Troopers partner with National Guard to stop Marijuana Cultivation Greensburg, LA– As part of a continuing effort to stop the cultivation and trafficking of Marijuana throughout our community, Louisiana State Police Narcotic Detectives have teamed up with the LA National Guard to target individuals growing Marijuana. On October 13th, 2010, LSP Narcotic Detectives began a Marijuana Eradication detail with National Guard personnel. Through the use of air surveillance, detectives located a Marijuana plant growing behind a residence in Greensburg, LA. Louisiana State Police and Wildlife and Fishery Agents responded to the residence and confirmed that the plant was Marijuana. Through further investigation, detectives discovered that the plant belonged to 23 year old Eric Brack Jr. of Greensburg, LA. Brack was booked into the St. Helena Parish Jail for Cultivation of Marijuana.
