Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP L NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release October 22nd, 2010 Early Morning Crash takes Life of Bush Woman St. Tammany Parish – This morning at 6:10 am, Louisiana State Police Troop L investigated a two vehicle fatality crash on LA 41 south of LA 435 in St. Tammany Parish. The crash occurred as Sandra Dibos, (W/F age 60) of Bush, LA, was traveling north on LA 41 in a 2007 Honda Accord. A 1997 Ford dump truck towing a fully loaded log trailer was disabled and parked on the right paved shoulder of LA 41. As the Honda proceeded northbound on LA 41, it began, for unknown reasons, to drift across the white fog line of the roadway driving upon the right paved shoulder. Upon entering the shoulder, the Honda Accord impacted the rear of the log trailer. Dibos was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and alcohol use is not suspected. The Ford dump truck and trailer were unoccupied at the time of the crash.
