Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP A- NEWS RELEASE Troopers Looking for Assistance to Find Hit and Run Suspect At 11:30 PM, Friday, June 6, 2008, Louisiana State Police – Troop A began investigating a hit and run crash resulting in the death of a pedestrian. The crash occurred on US Hwy 61 south of LA Hwy 965 in West Feliciana Parish. An unknown vehicle (believed to be a General Motors product) traveled south on US Hwy 61 and struck a pedestrian. After striking the pedestrian, the driver drove away from the scene. State Police – Troop A notified State Police – Detectives and Crime Lab to assist with the investigation. The pedestrian, Angela D. Guin (Female/Age 39), sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the West Feliciana Parish Coroner’s Office.
