Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP L- NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release Date: June 15, 2008 Holden Man Killed in St. Tammany Parish Fatal Crash On Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:15 PM, Louisiana State Police, Troop L investigated a one vehicle fatal crash on Interstate 12, 1.5 miles east of LA 434 at milepost 75.5. The crash involved a 1996 Chevrolet pick-up driven by Jeramy Malcom Trent Sullivan (W/M/Age 18) of Holden, LA. The Chevrolet pick-up was traveling eastbound on Interstate 12, when for an unknown reason the pick-up traveled off the roadway to the left. The driver then overcorrected the vehicle to the right, causing the pick-up to re-enter onto Interstate 12 eastbound. The vehicle traveled across the eastbound lanes, off the right side of the roadway rotating clockwise and impacting a tree with its left side. The driver of the Chevrolet pick-up, Jeramy Malcom Trent Sullivan of Holden, LA, was pronounced dead at the scene by Assistant Coroner Nick Culotta of the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office, due to injuries sustained in the crash. Alcohol is unknown at this time; however, blood was obtained and will be submitted for analysis. The driver of the Chevrolet pick-up did not wear the vehicle’s seat belt.
