Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP L- NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release January 5th, 2010 **Update** On January 4, 2010, Terrill Baker was located and arrested for Burglary, Felony Theft and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.Residential Burglary Ring discovered through Multi-agency Investigation Washington Parish- A joint investigation by Louisiana State Police Region I Detectives, Franklinton Police Department, and the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office has led to the recovery of approximately $1800 dollars in stolen property and warrants issued for several burglary suspects. The investigation began on December 15th, 2009, when LSP Detectives received information concerning multiple burglaries in Washington Parish. Upon further investigation, investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence of Raymond Magee (B/M age 30) of Franklinton, LA and discovered numerous weapons and stolen property taken in three residential burglaries. Based on the evidence, arrest warrants were issued for Raymond Magee, Terrill Baker (B/M age 24), Cuarry Fortenberry (B/M age 33), and Terence Thompson (B/M age 33) all of Franklinton, LA. On December 18th, 2009, Thompson was located and arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Burglary and Felony Theft. Fortenberry was located and arrested on December 26th, 2009 and charged with Burglary, Felony Theft, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Raymond Magee was arrested on December 29th, 2009 in Franklinton, LA. He was charged with Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling, Theft over $500 dollars, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and 3 Counts of Possession of Stolen Property over $500.
