A 2008 Nissan Altima, driven by a juvenile (W/F/age 16) of Angie, LA, was traveling southbound on LA 21. As the two vehicles approached one another, the Chevrolet pickup crossed over the centerline, traveled onto the southbound lane and struck the Nissan Altima. Both vehicles made contact with each other’s right front. After impact, both vehicles rotated in a clockwise motion. The Chevrolet pickup came to rest on the southbound shoulder and the Nissan Altima came to rest in the northbound lane.

The juvenile driver of the Nissan Altima was transported to St. Tammany Hospital by Acadian Ambulance, to receive medical treatment for moderate injuries.
