| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE State Police, Troop A – News Release For Immediate Release Vehicle Strikes Tree, Driver Pronounced Dead April 2, 2008 At 3:59 AM, on Wednesday, April 02, 2008, Louisiana State Police – Troop A began investigating a single vehicle fatal crash. The crash occurred on LA Hwy 37 south of LA Hwy 408 in East Baton Rouge Parish. While traveling northbound on LA Hwy 37, a Jeep SUV passed through a curve to the left, exited the roadway to the right and a entered a ditch. Once the Jeep entered the ditch, the vehicle began to rotate to the right, struck a tree and partially ejected the driver. The driver of the Jeep, Kayson B. Tillman, a juvenile, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office. Mr. Tillman was not restrained and alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in this crash. For more information contact: S/T Johnnie L.
