| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE State Police, Troop A – News Release For Immediate Release Driver Dies in Head-on Collision (Final) May 5, 2008 On April 21, 2008, Louisiana State Police – Troop A booked Ms. Dana K. Shell (originally listed by her maiden name Dana L. Keyes) into the East Feliciana Parish Jail for Negligent Homicide and Careless Operation. Ms. Shell’s arrest stems from a fatal crash that occurred at 6:43 PM, on Saturday, March 01, 2008. The crash took place on LA Hwy 19 south of Ethel, LA in East Feliciana Parish. Troopers determined that a Ford Mustang traveled southbound on LA Hwy 19, while a Nissan Altima traveled northbound on LA Hwy 19. The Nissan crossed the center line into the southbound lane of travel and crashed head-on into the Ford. The driver of the Ford, Mr. Robert A. Brumfield (Male/Age 28), from Norwood, LA, was pronounced dead at the scene by the East Feliciana Parish Coroner’s Office. The passengers in the Ford, two juveniles, sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Lane Memorial Regional Hospital. The driver of the Nissan, Ms. Shell (Female/Age 43) of Angola, LA, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.
