Troop I - NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release October 4, 2011 Troopers Investigating Death of Pedestrian St. Landry Parish- This morning, Louisiana State Police Troop I was notified about a pedestrian laying in the middle of LA 182 at Belmont Drive with severe injuries. According to investigating troopers, on October 4, 2011, at 2:18 a.m., 37-year-old Henry Bobb of Opelousas, LA, was found lying in the middle of LA 182 north of Opelousas with severe injuries. He was transported to a local hospital by Acadian Ambulance in critical condition. When he arrived at the hospital, Bobb was pronounced dead by the emergency room physician. Investigating troopers are working with Region 2 detectives and the St. Landry Parish Coroner to determine a cause of death. This case remains under investigation. For More Information Contact: | |||
