Edmonson, Superintendent Impaired Driver Checkpoint June 25, 2008 Louisiana State Police - Troop I will conduct an Impaired Driver Checkpoint within St. Martin Parish. The checkpoint will take place on Friday, June 27, 2008, between the hours of 10:00 pm to 4:00 am. All drivers that travel through the checkpoint will be screened for alcohol and drug impairment. Any driver that is impaired will be removed from the roadway. This checkpoint is part of the ongoing effort to rid our roadways of impaired drivers and to make the public aware of the dangers of driving while impaired.
