Edmonson, Superintendent St. Martin Parish Checkpoint Results June 24, 2008 June 24, 2008, Louisiana State Police - Troop I, conducted a Safety Checkpoint on La 94 within St. Martin Parish. The checkpoint took place from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. Troopers were aggressively looking for vehicles that were not insured and those vehicles were removed from the roadway. Troopers also found numerous other violations during the checkpoint. A total of 72 violations were observed by troopers. 9 - Insurance Violations 9 - License plates seized 20 – Motor Vehicle Inspection Citations 2 - Vehicle registration Violations 4 - Driver's License Violations 4 - Window tint Violations 1 - Seat Belt Violations 2 - Child restraint Violations 1 - Arrest by Warrant Commercial Vehicle Violations 2 - Medical Card Violations 18 - Equipment Violations 4 - Vehicles towed and 3 Commercial Vehicles Placed out of Service | |||
