| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE News Release Impaired Driver Checkpoint February 6, 2008 On March 7, 2008, Louisiana State Police – Troop I will Conduct an Impaired Driver Checkpoint within Vermilion Parish. This checkpoint will be conducted between the hours of 9:00 pm and 3:00 am. All drivers that travel through the checkpoint will be screened for alcohol and drug impairment. Any driver that is impaired will be removed from the roadway. This checkpoint is part of the ongoing effort to rid our roadways of impaired drivers and to make the public aware of the dangers associated with impaired driving. “Alcohol or Drugs, Impairment is Impairment!
