| COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE News Release I-10 Critical Crash Update February 1, 2008 Louisiana State Police Troop I investigated a critical crash on January 31, 2008, which occurred on I-10 within Lafayette Parish. Twenty three year Tyler Meche of Churchpoint, La was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled over several times. Louisiana State Police Troop I was notified by Lafayette General Medical Center that Tyler Meche had died due to his injuries at 2:07p.m., on January 31, 2008. Tyler Meche is the fourth fatality victim of the year and third person to die as a result of not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the vehicle Aaron Richard of Rayne, La, will be charged with one count of Vehicular Homicide. “Alcohol or Drugs, Impairment is Impairment!
