| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE News Release Two Arrested on I-10 for Stolen Credit Cards and Counterfeit Money February 11, 2008 February 07, 2008, Louisiana State Police Troop I Criminal Patrol units stopped a 2003 Porsche SUV westbound on I-10, for Improper Lane Usage near milepost 108. The driver Jorge Moreno of Hialeah, FL., told troopers he was going to Texas, then later changed his story. Troopers also spoke to the passenger, Oscar LI of Tampa, FL. Li told troopers a different story of where the two were going. Troopers detected an odor of Marijuana emitting from inside of the vehicle. Troopers requested and received written consent to search the vehicle. While searching the vehicle troopers located 39 credit cards from several banks. Troopers also located a fake Ohio driver’s license, with the name of Mario Gomez on the license however, the license had the picture of the Passenger Oscar LI. After further investigation troopers discovered twelve counterfeit $20.00 dollar bills. The investigation was later turned over to the Secret Service. Both subjects were booked into the St. Martin Parish Jail for Conspiracy, Access Device Fraud and Possession of Counterfeit Money.
