Edmonson, Superintendent October 23, 2009 Troopers Arrest Krotz Springs Man on Child Pornography Charges Krotz Springs- Today, Troopers with the Louisiana State Police, assisted by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Krotz Springs Police Department, arrested a man for possession of pornography involving juveniles. This morning Troopers executed a search warrant at 322 Gabrial St. in Krotz Springs. The warrant stemmed from an ongoing investigation that began several months ago. During the search, Troopers located a computer which contained stored images of child pornography on it. After locating the images, Troopers arrested the owner of the computer, forty-seven year old Johnny C. Johnfore. Mr. Johnfore was booked at the St. Landry Parish Jail on the charge of possession of pornography involving juveniles. No other arrests in this case are expected, however, the investigation is still on going pending the thorough investigation into the electronic storage media.
