Baton Rouge Man Arrested after Sexually Explicit Online Chat with Supposed 15-year-old Girl

CORRECTION – Steven LaCombe is not the owner of Printing Tech of Baton Rouge. According to the owners, Robert Hetrick and Albert Boudreau, LaCombe WAS only an employee.

BATON ROUGE – Steven LaCombe (W/M, age 45) of Baton Rouge was arrested yesterday, April 8, in Baton Rouge after Troopers executed a search warrant at his place of business on South Harrell’s Ferry Road. State Troopers, during an undercover “on-line chat” investigation, found that LaCombe was engaging in a sexually explicit on-line chat with a person he believed to be a 15-year-old girl. Troopers secured an arrest warrant for LaCombe and a search warrant for his business, Printing Tech. Troopers seized computer equipment from the business, arrested LaCombe, and booked him into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of Possession of Child Pornography. LaCombe is being held in the prison for additional related charges in Lafayette and Jefferson Parishes.

Louisiana State Police will continue to work in cooperation with local police departments, sheriff’s offices, and the Office of the Attorney General to ensure that the children in our state are protected. Child predators are the worst type of criminals, and State Troopers will continue to work very hard to stop the horrible crimes committed against our children throughout the state.
