| LSP REGION I NEWS RELEASE September 18, 2012 National Child Seat Check Saturday Events Scheduled Across Southeast Louisiana As part of Child Passenger Safety Week, nationally certified technicians from across the state will participate in free child passenger safety seat check up events this Saturday, September 22, 2012. At the event, certified technicians will be on hand to conduct seat inspections ensuring proper installation of each child’s safety seat. In addition, parents and caregivers will be provided with life-saving information regarding the appropriate seat for each child’s age, weight, and height. There is no cost for the child seat installations/inspections, however parents should anticipate approximately 30 minutes of inspection time per seat.
