| TROOP A NEWS RELEASE May 31, 2016 Four Dead after Fiery Crash in East Feliciana Parish Clinton, LA – At approximately 9:30 pm on May 30, 2016, Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop A began investigating a two vehicle fatality crash on LA 67 north of LA 432 in East Feliciana Parish. The crash took the life of a 22 year old Brandon Temple and 24 year old Jakyle Hall of Norwood, LA and 19 year old Holley Thomas and 1 year old Hazel Temple of Denham Springs, LA. The initial investigation by State Police revealed that the crash occurred as Temple was traveling northbound on LA 67 in a 2006 Ford 500. At the same time, Hall was traveling southbound on LA 67 in a 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander. Temple began passing two vehicles in a no passing zone while approaching a hill. As Temple approached the crest of the hill, he struck Hall’s vehicle head-on. Upon impact, both vehicles became fully engulfed in flames. All occupants of both vehicles sustained fatal injuries in the crash. Holley Thomas and Hazel Temple were occupants in Temple’s vehicle. Hall was the sole occupant in his vehicle. Due to the severity of the crash, seat belt and alcohol usage is unknown. As the Memorial Day Weekend comes to an end, Troopers have investigated 10 fatal crashes resulting in the deaths of 15 people. Contact Information: | |||
