Search Warrant Leads to Seizure of Prescription Medication and Gun, One Arrested Gonzales – Louisiana State Troopers working in the Baton Rouge Narcotics unit arrested Ryan Espinoza (W/M, age 29) of Gonzales after executing a search warrant on his residence at 13206 George Rouyea Road following an extensive narcotics investigation. While executing the search warrant, Troopers, with the assistance of the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, seized Hydrocodone, Alprazolam, one .380 caliber pistol, and $1,320.00 from Espinoza’s residence. The investigation revealed that Espinoza was distributing diverted prescription medication throughout the Ascension Parish area. Espinoza was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish Prison on charges of possession with intent to distribute schedule II drugs, possession with intent to distribute schedule IV drugs, and possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance.
