HEADQUARTERS NEWS RELEASE October 27, 2019 Silver Alert: Assistance Needed in Locating Missing Zachary Man The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Zachary Police Department (ZPD) and is requesting assistance with locating Welton βWicβ Pierce, who was reported missing to ZPD this morning. He was last seen at approximately 8:30 am this morning in the Zachary area driving a white 2002 GMC Sierra bearing Louisiana license plate W144768. His direction of travel is unknown. Welton Pierce is an 81-year-old white male with gray hair and silver eyes. He is approximately 5β11β tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shorts and blue short-sleeved shirt. Family members confirm Mr. Pierce suffers from a medical condition which may impair his judgment.
