HEADQUARTERS NEWS RELEASE September 20, 2018 Denham Springs Man Arrested for Images of Child Pornography Livingston Parish – On September 19, 2018, Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit (SVU) arrested a Denham Springs man after they learned that he was in possession of child pornography in Livingston Parish. Investigators arrested 28-year-old Jessie Sibley for charges related to the possession/distribution of images of child pornography and narcotics. On the morning of September 19th, SVU Investigators assisted the FBI in conducting a search warrant on a residence in Denham Springs. The search warrant was relative to an FBI investigation into the distribution of child pornography. During the search warrant Investigators located images and videos indicative of child pornography on a phone belonging to Sibley. Sibley was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of pornography involving juveniles (11 counts) and Distribution of pornography involving juveniles (1 count). He was also charged with Possession of marijuana and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Sibley was booked into the Livingston Parish jail on the above charges. The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted the FBI and LSP in this case. The LSP Special Victims Unit works in partnership with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to combat child exploitation and investigate child and adult sex and labor trafficking across Louisiana.
