| HEADQUARTERS NEWS RELEASE December 22, 2020 Joint Investigation Leads to Arrest of Baton Rouge Man on Charges of Child Pornography Baton Rouge – On December 18, 2020, Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit – Baton Rouge Field Office in conjunction with the FBI, arrested an East Baton Rouge Parish man after they learned of his participation in the production and possession of child pornography. 33-year-old Jesse Allen of Baton Rouge was arrested for charges related to production and possession of child pornography. The initial investigation began earlier this month when Investigators received information Allen shared multiple images and videos of child pornography. Investigators obtained a warrant, and on December 18th searched Allen’s residence. During the search Investigators found evidence of child pornography. Allen was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail for violating LRS 14:81.1 Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles and LRS 14:81 Indecent Behavior with Juveniles. Through further investigation, Investigators discovered Allen also participated in the production of child pornography. On December 22th, Allen was additionally charged with LRS 14:81.1(E) Production of Pornography Involving Juveniles-Under the Age of 13(3 counts). This remains an active investigation, and there is no further information available at this time. The LSP Special Victims Unit works to rescue and seek justice for the victims of crimes involving the exploitation of children and the trafficking of humans for sex or labor. The public plays an important role in identifying suspects accused of these crimes, and is urged to report criminal or suspicious activity.
