On September 18, 2015, Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations (Houma Division), Homeland Security Investigations, Customs and Border Protection, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Thibodaux Police Department made contact with an airplane flying out of Brownsville, TX, that was landing at the Thibodaux Municipal Airport in Terrebonne Parish. Working together, agents met the airplane as it landed at the airport. Troopers and agents spoke to the pilot, John Crow (W/M, 06/12/1986) of Brownsville, TX. Crow was extremely nervous during the encounter and granted consent to search the airplane. Inside Crow's luggage, troopers and agents discovered 15.6 kilograms of cocaine, with an estimated street-value $468,000. Troopers and agents also discovered $2090.00 in US currency in Crow's possession. Crow was arrested and booked at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. State Police Detectives also seized the currency and airplane in Crow’s possession.
