HEADQUARTERS NEWS RELEASE August 25, 2015 Fallen LSP Trooper to be Honored This Week LAKE CHARLES, LA – Following the tragic line of duty death of 44-year-old Louisiana State Police veteran Senior Trooper Steven Vincent, funeral and memorial service arrangements have been finalized as follows: -Visitation for Senior Trooper Steven Vincent will be begin on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Lake Charles Civic Center Rosa Heart Theater located at 900 Lakeshore Drive. The Vincent family and Troopers from across the state have been touched by the incredible outpouring of support received from across the nation and across the world. Whereas many local fundraising efforts are being conducted by legitimate organizations, Troopers urge the public to be cautious when making monetary donations to unfamiliar sources. Currently, the most secure and easiest methods to provide assistance to the Vincent family are through the Louisiana Troopers Charities or Capital One Bank. To donate, please visit www.latroopers.org and follow the link to the Louisiana Troopers Charities direct donation option. An account has also been opened in the name of Trooper Steven Vincent at Capital One Bank. Donations may be made at any Capital One Bank nationwide.
