Edmonson, Superintendent TROOP G - NEWS RELEASE January 11, 2013 Indiana Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography The investigation revealed that child pornography was being downloaded onto a computer at this location. After learning that the activities had occurred on the Barksdale Military Reservation, the US Department of Homeland Security and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), were notified of the situation. While executing the search warrant, detectives learned that 21-year-old Issac Boger of Auburn, Indiana was in possession of child pornography. Detectives also learned that Boger had not only downloaded over 82,000 images and videos of child pornography between November of 2012 and January of 2013, but that he had distributed child pornography to an undercover Springhill Police Officer. Boger was arrested on a warrant by the Springhill Police Department for distribution of 209 images and videos of child pornography. Boger was booked in Bossier Parish and subsequently transferred to the Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center. Federal child pornography charges are pending against Boger. If convicted, Boger faces up to a $50,000 fine and from five to twenty years in prison without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. The mission of Operation Child Watch is to rescue children from the potential abuse of child predators by targeting those individuals with sexually explicit images and/or videos on their computers.
