A 46-year-old man from Gibsland, LA was critically injured in the crash. According to investigating troopers, 46-year-old Joseph C. At that time, 40-year-old Christopher Thompson of Gibsland was traveling west on LA 516 in a 1998 Chevrolet pickup when he failed to stop his vehicle at the stop sign. Joseph Thompson, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was transported to Minden Medical Center with minor injuries.
