March 25, 2012
Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In DeSoto Parish Crash Earlier today, a single vehicle crash seriously injured a man from Mansfield, LA.
Troopers responded to the crash around 2:55 pm, which occurred on Railroad Avenue in DeSoto Parish. The crash involved a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle, driven by Johnny W. Wilbert (B/M 42 yrs). Wilbert lost control of his motorcycle and exited the roadway before being ejected. After being ejected from the motorcycle, he collided with a railroad crossing sign.
Wilbert received serious injuries and was transported to LSU Medical center.
Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
