This Morning troopers drove on to the scene of a two vehicle head-on crash that killed the drivers of both vehicles just east of Bossier City.

At about 8:30 this morning 53 year old Barbara Ann Timm of Haughton was travelling westbound on I-20 at mile post 27 when she lost control of her vehicle crossing the median and entering the eastbound lane. Mrs. Timm travelled a short distance in the eastbound lane before impacting a westbound vehicle driven by Mr. Jack Daniel of Tennessee. The head-on crash killed both drivers upon impact where the vehicles came to rest in the east bound lanes.

To this date, Troop G has investigated two (2) fatal crashes resulting in the death of three (3) people for the year 2009.
