Edmonson, Superintendent News Release January 15, 2009 Suitcase of Cocaine On January 15, 2009, a team of Troopers and Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 34 year old Willie Coleman for possession of a suitcasecase full of cocaine while he was travelling on a Greyhound Bus from Dallas, Texas to Jackson, Mississippi. Troopers from the North District Narcotics Unit along with the Caddo Sheriff's Office K-9 unit began conducting a drug interdiction detail at the Greyhound Bus Station in Shreveport, LA this week. Shortly after initiating this special detail the K9 “alerted” on a black suitcase in the luggage compartment of a Greyhound bus. Upon further investigation of this suitcase it was determined the it belonged to Mr. Willie Coleman of Jackson Mississippi, a passenger on that bus travelling from Dallas back to Mississippi. The suitcase contained five individually wrapped bundles of cocaine weighing approximately 14 pounds. Mr. Coleman was arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center for Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
