Edmonson, Superintendent News Release – July 16, 2010 Fatal Tanker Truck Crash in Webster Parish WEBSTER PARISH – A tanker truck crash with a trailer house in Webster Parish left one Texas man dead and injured a mother and daughter from Webster Parish. Around 12:15 p.m., troopers with Louisiana State Police responded to the scene of a crash involving an empty tanker truck (2000 Peterbilt) that collided with a double wide trailer home. The crash occurred when 49 year-old Harold C. Freeman of Nacogdoches Texas, was traveling eastbound along I-20 at mile post 40 where he veered off the right side of the roadway for unknown reasons. The tanker truck traveled across an open grassy area, through a wire fence, and later collided with a trailer home which was occupied. 49 year-old Cassandra Siaa and her 15 year-old daughter, Cassie Williams were both inside the home at the time of impact. Both were transported to Minden Medical Center with minor injuries. Mr. Freeman, the driver of the tanker truck was transported to Minden Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
