| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE News Release March 20, 2008 NEBRASKA RUNAWAYS FOUND On March 21, 2008 at approximately 8:30 AM, troopers stopped a late model Ford Taurus for speeding on I-20 in Bossier Parish. Upon making contact with the occupants troopers suspected the driver and passenger to be juveniles. Further roadside investigation revealed that there was an NCIC alert that matched the vehicle license plate and a description of two juvenile runaways from Nebraska possibly en route to Virginia. After confirming the identity of the two 15 year old occupants as the Nebraska runaways, the male subject was turned over to juvenile authorities at Johnny Gray Jones Juvenile Detention Center and the female was released to the custody of Bossier Parish Juvenile Center authorities. Both subjects’ parents have been notified and arrangements have been coordinated by troop G to have the juveniles returned home today.
