Edmonson, Superintendent News Release June 24, 2008 Claiborne Parish Woman Dies in Single Vehicle Crash On June 24, 2008 at about 4:00 PM, Louisiana State Police Troop G Troopers investigated a one vehicle fatal crash in Claiborne Parish. The driver of vehicle, 51 year old Mary E. Fowler, was operating a 1997 Ford truck west bound on La 146 at State Park Road when she failed to negotiate a left hand curve. The vehicle left the roadway to the right and rolled multiple times before coming to rest in the west bound lane. Mrs. Fowler was ejected from the vehicle. She was air-lifted to LSU Med Center and pronounced dead upon arrival. She was not wearing a seat belt and alcohol is suspected. For More Information, Contact: | |||
