Grand Cane Woman Dies In Desoto Parish Crash

On June 20, 2008 at about 10:15 am, Louisiana State Police Troop G Troopers investigated a one vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a Grand Cane woman. The crash occurred on LA 175, one mile north of LA 3015, in Desoto Parish. The driver, 82 year old Minnie L. White, was travelling southbound on LA 175 when she veered off the left side of the road and stuck a large tree. At this time it is not known if the driver died from her injuries or from a pre-existing medical condition. Mrs. White was restrained and alcohol is not suspected
