The collision sent both vehicles off the roadway and into a grassy ditch area. The driver of the 2004 Ford truck, a 30-year-old female from San Antonio, TX, was pronounced dead at the scene by the DeSoto Parish Coroner. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The name of the 30-year-old female is being withheld until her family can be notified. The Mack truck was being operated by 46-year-old Joe Pritchett of Purcell, OK. Pritchett was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was not injured. Toxicology tests are pending and the crash remains under investigation. Contact Information: Tpr.
