TROOP G NEWS RELEASE March 30, 2015 Wascom Man Arrested For Solicitation of A Minor and Prostitution Bossier Parish – In March of 2015, Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit Detectives and members of the Northwest Louisiana ICAC Task Force initiated an undercover online investigation on an individual who posted a suggestive ad online. During the investigation, the subject agreed to travel to Louisiana to meet an adult and a child for the purpose of sex. The subject also agreed to compensate the adult and child for services rendered. Upon meeting at the designated location, 46-year-old Stephen C. Fuentez of Wascom, TX was arrested. Fuentez admitted that he traveled to Louisiana for the purpose to have sex with both an adult and a child. Fuentez was charged with Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor, Prostitution and, Prostitution with a Person under 18. If convicted of these charges, Fuentez could serve up to 70 years in prison and could be fined up to $75,000. The Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit will continue to maintain close partnerships with law enforcement agencies statewide to locate and arrest those individuals who choose to participate in these types of crimes.
