TROOP G NEWS RELEASE May 20, 2016 Webster Parish Crash Claims the Life of a Shreveport Man Webster Parish-On May 20, 2016, at 1:45 p.m., Louisiana State Police Troop G responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Interstate 20 around mile post 40 just east of Goodwill Road that claimed the life of a Shreveport man. The preliminary investigation revealed that a mobile oil well work over rig driven by 36-year-old Christopher Henderson of Shreveport was traveling east on Interstate 20 when the vehicle experienced tire failure. The vehicle then exited the roadway and traveled into the median where it overturned and crushed the cab of the vehicle. Henderson sustained fatal injuries during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Webster Parish Coroner. Impairment is not suspected, but a toxicology sample was obtained, and will be submitted for analysis. This crash remains under investigation. Contact Information: | |||
