| TROOP G NEWS RELEASE October 1, 2017 Bossier Parish Crash Turns Fatal Bossier Parish- On Thursday, September 28, 2017, shortly after 4:00 p.m. Louisiana State Police Troop G investigated a one vehicle crash on LA Highway 614, east of LA Highway 157, in Bossier Parish that claimed the life of a Doyline man. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2008 Isuzu Pickup operated by 53-year-old Randy A. McEachern of Doyline was traveling east on LA 614 when for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and crashed into an embankment. During the crash, McEachern sustained moderate injuries and was transported to University Health in Shreveport for treatment. On Saturday, September 30, 2017, the Caddo Coroner’s Office contacted Troop G and advised that McEachern died as a result of his injuries sustained in the crash. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in this crash, but toxicology samples were obtained and will be submitted for analysis. This crash remains under investigation. Contact Information: | |||
