| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE News Release January 3, 2008 Virginia Fugitive Arrested On December 29, 2007 at approximately 6:45 AM, troopers stopped a Ford Fusion for speeding on I-20 E/B in Webster Parish. During the traffic stop troopers observed the front seat passenger to be acting in an extremely nervous manner. An investigation at the scene identified the passenger as Iris Lopez. An NCIC check revealed Lopez was a wanted Felony Fugitive out of Virginia for robbery. The warrant was confirmed and Lopez was taken into custody. Lopez was incarcerated into the Webster Parish Jail and an extradition hold was placed for Virginia Beach P.D.
