TROOP F - NEWS RELEASE December 20, 2011 Rayville Police Officer Arrested for Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile A Rayville Police Officer has been arrested for felony carnal knowledge of a 15-year-old juvenile. The Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Rayville Police Department requested that Louisiana State Police Detectives conduct an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct involving a fifteen-year-old female by a Rayville Police Officer. As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested Channen O. Ricks (21 yoa from Rayville) for felony carnal knowledge (one count) of a juvenile. Ricks was booked into the Richland Parish Detention Center on Monday without incident. Bond was set at $10,000. According to Rayville Police Department, the alleged incident occurred while Ricks was off-duty.
