Edmonson, Superintendent News Release October 26, 2010 Suspect Arrested in Madison Parish Murder Attempt Detectives have made an arrest in the attempted murder of a Tallulah woman. During the early morning hours of October 24, 2010, a 48-year-old female victim was shot multiple times as she sat in her residence at the Madison Community Apartments. A joint investigation was initiated with the Madison Parish Sheriff's Office, the Tallulah Police Department, and Louisiana State Police Detectives. The investigation led to the arrest of 19-year-old Jeremy Hunter from Tallulah. Hunter has been booked for Attempted First Degree Murder at the Madison Parish jail. Hunter is currently being held without bond. The victim in the shooting is currently in stable, but guarded condition at an area hospital. The investigation is on-going.
